“MRSI International, Inc Finalizes License Agreement with Bluespan Inc.”

Las Vegas, Nevada – August 30, 2007: MRSI International has announced the finalization of an Intellectual Property License Agreement granted to Bluespan Inc. (www.bluespan.com). Bluespan Inc. is a leader in the research and development of practical solutions to everyday problems using wireless communications. Bluespan's mission is to help provide solutions to the age old problems of missing people and lost property, pets or other assets. 

Bluespan's first product is ionKids.  IonKids is a child monitoring and locating product designed to help parents keep track of their children.

The License agreement enables the IonKids device to activate and/or de-activate a tagged item (Child’s Wristag) “wirelessly” from the use of a hand-held monitoring device/base unit (Parent Unit). This wireless convenience will allow the user the ability to turn on or off, up to four child’s wristags from a base unit.

The Bluespan Technology: Bluespan's proprietary ionTechnology is a wireless, point-to-point link between a hand-held monitoring device-or Base Unit-and a tagged item. The technology enables users to locate and identify any tagged item by using the Base Unit to pinpoint the item's unique signal.

IonTechnology operates across a range of unlicensed frequencies and transmits at power levels much lower than cell phones. All ionTechnology products are designed to be in compliance with FCC standards.

Bluespan Inc. was founded in 2002 in Austin, Texas.  Bluespan is comprised of a community of entrepreneurs and business leaders that believe new technologies can be developed and businesses created with a common goal of creating a better and safer world.
